My Session is a directory for licensed mental health professionals in Canada and the United States. By creating a listing on My Session, you confirm that you hold an active registration with a recognized regulatory college or state licensing board, and that you have specifically chosen to offer services to fellow mental health professionals.
My Session manually verifies every listing against the relevant regulatory college or licensing board's public register. Your profile will not go live until verification is complete. We reserve the right to decline or remove any listing that cannot be verified or whose registration lapses. Where a listing is removed for these reasons, the current billing period is not refunded.
Searching My Session and contacting providers is free and does not require an account. You agree to use the platform to find services for yourself, and not to contact providers for marketing, recruitment, research, or any purpose unrelated to seeking therapy, supervision, or consultation. We may block access where we believe the platform is being misused.
When you send an enquiry through My Session, we pass your name, email address, and message to the provider you selected. Enquiries are stored on our systems, and we may review those flagged by our spam protection. Any conversation that follows takes place directly between you and the provider, outside My Session. We are not party to it and are not responsible for its content or outcome. Providers choose whether to respond.
Listing on My Session is $29/month. New providers may receive a free introductory period before paid billing begins. The length of the free period will be disclosed during signup. By submitting your profile, you authorize My Session to charge your saved payment method $29/month on a recurring basis beginning when your applicable free period ends, until you cancel.
You may cancel at any time from your dashboard. Your listing will remain active until the end of the current billing period. You may also pause your listing at any time, which hides it from search results while keeping your account and profile intact. Billing continues while a listing is paused.
My Session does not refund partial months.
You are responsible for keeping your profile accurate, including your registration status, availability, and fees. My Session re-verifies registrations annually, but you are responsible for notifying us immediately of any change in your registration status, including suspension, lapse, or cancellation.
My Session is a directory. We are not a clinical service, a referral agency, or a party to any therapeutic, supervisory, or consultative relationship formed through the platform. We verify that a provider's registration or license is active with the relevant regulatory college or licensing board. We do not independently verify bios, specialties, experience, training, designations, or any other information providers choose to share on their profile. That content is self-reported by the provider. We do not supervise, credential, or endorse any provider beyond confirming that their registration is active.
Beyond confirming that a provider's registration or license is active with the relevant regulatory college or licensing board, My Session does not verify the accuracy of any information a provider shares on their profile. Your decision to contact or engage a provider is your own, and we are not liable for any inaccuracy in a provider's self-reported information, or for any outcome of your communication or relationship with a provider found through the platform.
